How to read a Bitcoin Purchase RNS
What each line of a purchase announcement means.
A typical purchase announcement lists:
- Number of Bitcoin Purchased and Average Purchase Price: this purchase only
- Total Bitcoin Holdings: holdings after the purchase
- Net Average Purchase Price: average cost of everything held, after sales
- Gross Bitcoin Purchases / Sales and Net Bitcoin Purchases: cumulative totals in pounds
- Quarter-to-Date BTC Yield: growth in bitcoin per fully-diluted share this quarter
- Coinbase facility: how much is drawn on the bitcoin-backed loan
